You should remember that every time you learn something new and incorporate it into your solves, it will slow you down at first, but the more you practice it, the faster you will become at the long run. To become faster you need to Learn Something new -> Practice it, whilst making your solves slower until you fully incorporated what you learnt -> Become faster -> Rinse and repeat.
